Why go to the market?

Hi guys,
The newsagent across from Dunnes sells the big size washing powder for 25euro
3 colgate for 5 euro
Also the 5 litre softener for 7:50
that's the same prices as the market, without having to pay for parking!

Thanks for that Doreen

Yeah, I saw those in the Newsagent but I couldn't see a price on the washing powder.  I just assumed, that because it's a newsagent, they'd be really expensive

Higuys, just back from the newsagents and had to post. The guy (think he's the owner) was soooooo friendly, I asked him would he get in comfort pure in the 5 litre and he said no problem and I bought a 5 litre comfort blue and it was 6.49 not 7.50 - even better that the market. He was very interested about the site when I told him - he might even put up a poster Clodagh!
I would certainly go in there again, such a difference when there is friendly staff!

Hi all,

Another  offer at the newsagents across from dunnes is pampers baby wipes for 2euro not to bad, and three tubes of colgate toothpaste for 5euro!  If you like your weekend newspapers, they offer a free tea or coffee with every weekend newspaper sold. The guy you saw is not the owner he is on holiday but will be back on tuesday....if you guys want me to I can tell him about the website and ask if it is ok to put up posters since I work there weekends and some evenings....

Hi Guys, I went into the newsagents you are all talking about and asked if i could put up a poster a couple of months ago and he said no!!! He gave me some excuse(cant remember) and when i was walking out the door i noticed about three posters on the window. I just taught this was a little strange!!

Hi Shea,

There has been some confusion on the issue of putting up posters because the two owners don't see eye to eye all the time.  Now they still won't put up posters for other businesses i.e. handyman and bouncy castle type stuff however they put up posters regarding events of interest to the community....if you have any posters I'd be happy to ask again and put them up

When I went to put up a poster about this website in the chemist, they initially said no because they thought I was trying to sell something and told me, like Rikki said, they only put up poster about community events, etc.  When I explained what this place was all about, they were fine about it.

Guys they got Comfort Pure, the white one for babies, in the shop. Just be careful it's advertised 6.49 in the window and it's marked 7.00 on the bottle.
