Hi all, I vote that when the bar opens @ Dunnes that we have a meet up there for a drink, a chance to really relax. It's due to open in September so when it opens, LET'S GO!!!!
Yeah, that'd be a great idea but I maybe without the babies! As much as we all love them to bits, I think we'd all agree that we need a break from time to time.
Yeah deffo interested and yeah as Laura said not just Mammys it would be nice for all the daddys to get to know each other too. Cant wait till it opens at least WHEN we go out now its only around the corner and not down to the village.
It will be great when it opens, somewhere new, and only round the corner - yeah, great idea to meet up when it does, count me in !!

Yeah, I pass it most days and it looks like there's still an awful lot of work to be done on it
As for SuperValu! They've been working on that since we moved here and everybody has a different version on when it's supposed to be finished. Who knows
asked foreman about when it is opening and he said realistically won't be till mid november but where pushing to try and get it open asap. can't wait, it will be so handy. be nice to meet other parents and be great to have to speak loudly to hear each other over music and not the kiddies for a change!!!

Oh just in time for christmas I vote all Mammies have a well earned Christmas drink! I agree Sarah , it'd be nice to even listen to any music, not kiddies music!
Ok Guys, Finally the bar has open. It is called Hamlet. I reckon we should all go for a drink maybe on a sunday night so that the dads can mind the kids. Maybe even Christmas eve for 1 drink. Who's on for it???

We must try organise a day/night there soon ... thoughI don't think they do food round there, which is a bit of a pity... I know jan is a bad month for most people (myself included - trying get back to normal after Christmas) so maybe some weekend in Feb ?
I agree. We'll definitely have to organise something, and as you said Lee, maybe February is best.
Maybe if we put together a list of dates and I could email them to everyone, asking them which suit best and then we could go with which ever date is most popular?
Anytime suits me rally once I have enough notice. Does anyone still meet for the coffee? We could maybe arrange that everyone meets in the pub instead, just for one time. Maybe a Friday? Could be nice just before the weekend. :)
Yeah, a Friday would be the best day I think.... yeah, I think if we give everyone plenty of notice we should be able to organise something :) a nice way to wind the week down ...
