People are really getting worse and worse. Went to the post office last week, with my friend, we both had buggies, and the queue was out the door, couldn't get in with the buggies so we stood outside and lo and behold people start going in ahead of us. So I loudly said "we are actually waiting to get in" when the third person tried to skip us I marched into the post office, and TOLD everyone to move round as much as they can, then I went outside and told my friend to follow me and I marched in front of the people who skipped me. Unbelieveable!
Haha you're right though, the other day I had to take the train to Dublin and people were literally jumping over the buggy and it nearly capsized............thankfully there was one well raised man who helped me and Hylke on the train....so there really is hope after all.....
i think I suddenly became invisible when I had Rachel. We get the train to Drogheda quite often, there's a big gap between the platform and train in Drogheda and people constantly watch me struggle .I've even asked for help and been ignored. It's usually elderly people who try to help.Even when Iwas almost 9mths pregnant I was on the train,no seats available,i've a huge bump Iwas on two walking sticks because I had sciatica nobody offered me a seat everyone avoided eye contact with me.i then asked if someone would give me a seat and I was completely ignored.Grrrrrrrrrrrrr

Oh my God Wendy, that really is horrific! What is wrong with people??? I remember being on a bus in town a few years ago. It was rush hour and the bus was absolutely packed. A little old lady got on at the same time as me. She was really, really tiny and frail but there were no seats when we got on. The bus driver, like most of them, thought he was Michael Schumacher so the poor thing was being thrown around the bus and not one person got up to offer her a seat. There was a girl sitting down (in one of those seats which your supposed to give up if a disabled or an elderly person needs it) just looking at her but didn't get up to give her the seat.
