Discussions are taking place with the Department of Transport, Bus Éireann and Fingal Co Co to extend the Balbriggan bus service to areas east of the town. I think if they did that then they would really need to bring in some sort of timetable - it's crazy that you never know when the bus will arrive!

Work will start on a new playground in Dún Saithne estate on Flemington Lane soon, the contractor is due on site in early October.

A Hallowe'en fancy dress party in aid of Skerries Sodo is taking place on the October bank holiday weekend. What is up with the traffic in the town- I went down to Supervalu last night around 6:30 and it took me 15mins to get down the town and 15mins back - I was in Supervalu for ages too. Think they really need to have a Garda on duty there outside the Harvest Pub - to allow the traffic to flow from the train station....
