NEW charity shop in aid of Autism and ADD/ADHD


Hi all, we hope to open our new shop  in Aug.All proceeds will go towards supporting the two groups.
We are currently looking for.

Volunteers to help work in shop  ,training will be provided.
Volunteers to help organise bag collections in their area.
Contact me, I will get a few  bags to you.You distribute them to your friends, neighbours etc.Ring me and we can arrange someone to collect them .
Donations , we cant take electrial or large stuffed toys.


Also , a manager for the shop , this will be  a paid position and the details are in Fas.

Friends of ADHD /ASD: Charity Shop Manager (Balbriggan, North County Dublin)
Friends of ADHD /ASD are a newly formed group set up to support the North Fingal ADHD /ASD parent and adult support group and the North Fingal Autism and Aspergers Support group. The group is opening a charity shop in order to support these groups and wish to recruit either a full time manager or two part time managers depending on the individuals applying.

The Role of Manager includes: To directly oversee the general operations of the charity shop, including dealing with staff, cash and customers.

As Shop Manager you will have overall responsibility for the day to day running of the shop. You will regularly report to the Board of Directors, you will ensure that all staff are given adequate training and resources in order to carry out their duties in an efficient and customer focussed manner. A minimum of 2 years experience in the role of Manager and have a proven record in staff selection, management & training.

The Store will have a positive disability policy providing work experience for adults with disabilities.

Skills: Good command of the English language, computer skills preferred, manual handling certificate is preferred and occupational first aid. This position is flexible and can be either a full time position or two part time positions.
