thought i'd post here as have a sister and a friend that use magic mum and i'm not making this public yet. went to the doc last monday to have the pg confirmed and its definitely happening - know it is coz i'm starving all the time!!
rang the rotunda coz went there with DD1 and found no fault with the place (well i won't start but better the devil you know and all that!) booked in for a scan on 12 march, early i know as i'll just be around the 12 weeks then so hope they can pick something up. seems they had a cancellation so i took that as otherwise would be end of april before they could see me
look forward to chatting to ye all, i do pop into this board every now and then when i remember ... oh yeah, meant to be working so best get on
by the way, do any of you go to the toddler group on friday mornings beside the health centre and if so what is it like?
how is your pregnancy going? hope your keeping well.Im due on saturday ist september, also attending the rotunda.I find it great there, also had dd(8yrs old) there. Im dying to have this baby now, we know we're having a little girl, so cant wait to meet her
gosh you haven't long to go now! i'm not due til the end of the month i.e. 28th september ... was thinking of having an elective section but after much debate i've decided to go for natural birth and hopefully it will happen - doc says he will assess me more fully the next visit so fingers crossed. i will be really annoyed if i end up a section now that i've made my mind up to try the long way!
hope you are feeling good and hopefully you'll go on time and not have to wait around too long. we don't know what we are having - a surprise - at the beginning i wanted to find out by dh didn't so i knew i wouldn't be able to keep it to myself, have a little girl who is 22 months now and she seems to like babies so hopefully she'll be the same when it will be a baby that's around day and night!
Thats great tina, hopefully the birth will work out well for you, once you have your healthy baby at the end thats all that matters, regardless of how you give birth.Hoping for the natural route myself .Im sure your daughter will love the new baby, mine is dying for the baby to arrive, she is so excited, like you said hopefully it will last when they are actually here! Well I'll keep you informed, hopefully next time i post ill have my baby!take care of yourself, and let us know how you get on
yes do let me know how you get on ... just in case you 'll think i'm ignoring any message you may post from saturday onwards - i'll be on holidays in clare so i'll have no internet access - bit like having an arm amputated! if i mention an internet cafe while away i'm sure my husband will leave me! so better not ... i'll be around til then eitherways in case you get any twinges before then!
just a quick note to let you all know that I had a little baby girl last Thursday evening by c-section in the rotunda. we have named her Siabh (pronounced sive) and are sticking with that spelling coz it took us three days! Siabh weighed in at 8oz 5lb and so far so good on the sleeping / eating pattern and hope it lasts! Speaking of which she is due a feed right now so better go!
Must update my ticker now - well after feeding time!
Hi all! congrats tina, glad you and baby are doing well.
