Tregan we used to meet on the green in front on Dunnes, hopefully they will finish the fencing so the toddlers can't get too far. It was great last year as all the kids couldn't walk. Once the weather stabilises we'll post about the picnics. They were great last year.

I don't think they are putting the fence up now. They took it all back down again. I heard there was some dispute over it. confused I could be wrong now.

Does anyone know what is happening with it? It was definitely hideous looking, but to have something there for safety would be great. Even if they put up a smaller black one or something like the one around the creche beside it. With or without the wall. smile

they should make it child friendly...its a joke having those "children at play" signs , the bloody road is so busy that its impossible for even an adult to cross at times...

don't know if templeville would appeal to anyone - they now have a playground there which would be good for the children / babies? and there is a green all around. green isn't fenced in but the roads are no through roads so not busy
