It would be great if we could find a playgroup where there is an area for our little ones to play and toys etc. and us sit down for a bit and drink tea. Does anyone know of any in Balbriggan?
It is great to meet in Cates Cafe on Fridays, but my little guy may not always sit for too long in a high chair and it would be nice to have somewhere for him to run around on those not so fine days when picnics are out. I'm sure there are plenty of mothers out there with toddlers in the same boat.
Hi Clare, there is a parent and toddler group on monday and friday mornings in the order of malta ambulance hall accross from the hse center. it's on from 10am to 12 for children under 5. there is a 3 euro charge per visit this covers insurance and tea coffee and toast. loads of toys for the kids, we have just bought some new stuff like little bikes etc.
apart from that when we get really bored here I usually try to meet up with other mums and arrange playdates at home. if you're interested let me know. My son Hylke is 21months and my daughter Giulia is 4 and a half months. looking forward to hear from you
