June 8th meet up??

Hi

Just wondering if anyone would be interested in meeting up on the afternoon of Friday June 8th?

If the weather is supposed to be good we could meet up for a picnic either on the beach or on the green space between morlaragh and chieftan's way so the kids can have more freedom - admittedly my 6 week old is not up for that just yet! But I would like to meet other mothers - more for my benefit than Jack's!

What do you think??
June

That's great

We can sort out details when we know the weather.

Clare, are you free or is your Mother in Law still with you?

Hi All,
if the weather is good I'd love to meet everybody. The only thing is that I'd prefer the beach, since Hylke loves to run free and on the green I'm afraid he'll run out in front of a car. It is a pity they stopped the fence from going up, that would have been perfect for keeping the kids in so the mum's can enjoy a chat!!! does anybody know whether the fence will ever go up?

I'd love if the fence went back up on the green too Rikkie. The green really is useless as it is now.
Also Parent and Toddler stops in Balrothery for the summer but thankfully not until June 22nd, we're trying to see if there would be enough interest to keep it open this year during the summer.

Well the weather does seem to be picking up so hopefully we can all meet up this week.

Dors - I am still on for the mother and toddler group on friday morning if you are going. My number is XXXXXXXXXX if you want to arrange where to meet in advance.

I can also head down to the beach with Jack in the afternoon if Rikkie and others are interested. Say 3pm around the tunnel that runs under the train station???? Jack will be in a red buggy.

Oh my goodness! I am so sorry to have missed this! Sorry June for not getting back to you about it too. cry

My MIL went back about two weeks ago, but I have been running around the place since and doing some work and DH just put in a deck over the bank holiday weekend, so things have been hectic as you can imagine.

But I would love to meet up on the beach or the park with you and the rest of the girls the next time you are doing it. Just let me know. I will be watching this time! smile

And the parent and toddler group in Balrothery on a Friday morning sounds great too. I will try to go there this Friday coming, June 15th, if anyone is going? 10.30 - 12.30, yes? The only thing is, I am only learning to drive, but starting to go out a lot on my own now and getting a lot more confident. But Balrothery itself will be unchartered territory so that scares me a bit. Is there any chance someone could post up detailed directions on how to get to the playgroup once I have turned off the main road? And is the turn-off at the Huntsman's Inn or is that too far?

Thanks a lot. Look forward to seeing you! smile

We are walking down the the Balbriggan parent group on Monday morning if you fancy it then meet us at the creche opposite Moylaragh at 9:30.
I can give you a lift to the Balrothery one on Friday if you fancy it instead. We're opening the group at 10 for the last 2 weeks.
Let me know anyway.

Hi Dors,

I won't make the Monday morning one tomorrow I'm afraid, but the offer of a lift to the one in Balrothery on Friday would be fantastic! smile Thank you very much for that! smile

Oooo, I will need Cian's carseat. Would it be possible for you to pick us up at my house? I am at XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX?

Hugs,
Clare

No problem at all. We'll be glad to have you. There's a few girls from this site who go so you'll hopefully get to meet a few others. I brought Juniper last week and we met Lee and Sharon there. Look forward to seeing you i'll drop by after Bear in the Big Blue house. Eoín loves that.
See you then.

It's in the heritage centre, the big church opposite the Balrothery Inn. But if you like we could meet you and then you can follow me. ;)
