Hi Everyone! I have been looking for a site like this for ages! I have been living in Stamullen for about 6 years now and up until last year I worked full time. I have a 19month old son and am nearly 8 months pregnant with our second. When I had my son, working full time with a long commute wasn't an option any more so I started working for myself, just part-time, so I'm at home a lot. I always dreamed of not having to work a 9-5 but it takes a lot of getting used to!! (especially with the rotton weather we've had lately) It will be nice to get to know other mothers in the area in similar positions!

Yeah, my story's pretty similar. Was working 8.30am to 6pm in the city centre but after I had Daniel I realised that with the commute and creche prices in the city centre, this wasn't going to be possible. I went back to work in March, working three days a week, but I'm now self-employed which means I dictate my hours (to a certain extent anyway ).
Anyway, looking forward to hearing lots more from you and hope you can make it to some of our get-togethers.
