Boys and shoes

good evening Ladies and Gents

It is coming up quick back to work in a month so my not so little angel is off to creche (not far) I want him to be able to stay in his socks and shoes but do not know how to go about it.
everytime i put them on him he manages to get them off within 10 minutes or so. Does anyone else have this problem and if so is there anything or any type of shoe i can try to keep them on his feet. sean is 6 months old.

Hi Karen,

I know, Daniel was exactly the same, as I think all babies are!

At six months old, I don't think shoes are necessary.  As they're not walking, all they really need are socks to keep their little toes warm!  Maybe to minimise hassle, just put him in socks when he's going to the creche and then it's up to those looking after him to make sure he keeps them on - a job I'm sure they're well used to!

thanks Clodagh, will just leave him with socks, even though i do not give much hope but at least it will keep them busy at the creche.

hi karen

i have the same problem with mark keeping on his shoes, he is reaching the 1yr old milestone in two weeks and he has mastered how to open the velcro on his shoes,,,,superglue i might use just to keep them on...only joking...but might tie them on and see how that goes.

Karen I wish you all the luck in the world keeping shoes and socks on him. Eoín used t take his shoes, and socks off and other kids too!!! Like Clodagh says it's a phase, Eoín loves to be barefoot even now. Ha ha.
