Shoes for babies

Ladies

I didn't get Eoín feet measured until he started standing alone. I went to Clarks, in the Pavillions, it's great there are they take a picture for you too! Handy for the baby book!
Just be aware that there is roughly a half size difference between Clarks and Start-rite.

babies shouldn't wear hard type shoes until they are able to walk. when they do start to walk you should give it about six weeks (i think i was told) before you go to get them measured - we go to victor dwyers in drogheda who seem to be very good o childrens shoes, speaking of which we just went up there on saturday as thought DD was growing out of current ones and we were right, she has gone up a size!

Thanks for the tips - I was thinking the same for when Jack is a little older.

Best of luck Tina - looking forward to meeting your new addition when he / she arrives.

Ladies

Thanks for all the advice, hopefully I still have some time before I have to get Sean measured.

I've the first boots for my son when he was 2 months old. But it was just for beauty and fun. I really need some shoes only when we started standing, that was about 10 months.
