Ive had enough

To be honest I think this tread needs a forum just for itself.
Can WE start by highliteing things that get up our nose in Balbriggan and if we need help /support / petition signing , can we request it here.
IE,
I have enough , Dogs pooh on the Beach, Teenagers using the playground to wee in.PS I am the mother of one, he wouldn't do it, but I have seen many.
To continue.
I have enough of Kids been served Drink in local pubs in the town.
I have enough of  elderly peoples houses been broken into. Not that its right to happen to anyone, but I am sick to the stomach when I hear a man age 80 was robbed.
Continue it one please. If we can help , offer a solution then I am sure we will.
Cathy......with pms

Hope you are over the PMS now Cathy. I haven't been aware of any of the incidents that you name but I'm sure it's not just in Balbriggan that these situations arise. I think that the issue is that the area is developing too fast and the council and government aren't putting in any thought to the teenagers who live here. I think that it is great that we have gotten playgrounds for the kids but I think they could have put higher fencing and get someone to lock the gates at night.

One of my biggest gripes is parking - especially in the new estates where the roads are very small.

I also hate when you are trying to get on to Main Street from Clonard St (opposite Deli Burger), it's a real nightmare. It's a pain trying to cross the road anywhere between The Harvest pub and De Bruin's. Also why are there 2 sets of lights almost on top of themselves between the Bank of Ireland and the Library????

The mind boggles. What we should do is write to our TD's and counsellors and complain about the situation.

The dog poo is my biggest gripe we dont have a car so walk everywhere and the buggy is always dystroyed with it. Not only is the dog poo a Problem on  the beach but on the paths and seems to be getting worse. How hard is it for a owner to bring a bag with them and pick it up. Will also agree about the drinking but not only from kids but adults on the beach in the evenings I dont go for my walk around the beach anymore have been told it is a no go area in the evenings. Also i noticed the kids with the skateboards taking over the footpaths lately and will not move out of the way.

well the dog pooh, it just sticks to buggy wheels. Then you have to bring the buggy into your house and dog pooh all over your hall.
I rang the fingal coco today and theysaid they have no control over it.I disagree.Litter warden...take an hour and walk down our beach.
As for the kids /adults drinking.Yes I agree the beach is a bit mad.I would love to run half of them. KICK THE OTHER HALF IN THE ARS*.wHERE ARE THEIR PARENTS.
I think the Garda should do their rounds and walk down there , every sat/friday night from 9.

I agree, it's always over the holidays that they are seen, but people speed and drink drive all the time.
